Mark Zuckerberg





Mark Elliot Zuckerberg is co-founder of the famous social networking website Facebook. He studied in Harvard University but then left it after his sophomore year to concentrate on the site. Facebook now is become the world's largest social network, making Zuckerberg a well-known billionaire.


Networked- the process of ​meeting and ​talking to a lot of ​people and build a good relationship with them in ​order to get ​information that can ​help the entrepreneur in their business.

Before the Facebook officially launched, Zuckerberg created a photo-rating site called Facemash using photographs of other Harvard students. Facemash inspired from Harvard school online facebook which is a year book-like publication designed to introduce students to one another. The programme widely popular but he used it to hacking into student records and using photos without permission. Facemash then shut down by the school administration for violating privacy rules and breaching computer security. 

Based on his previous projects, Zuckerberg with three of his fellow students work on an idea for a social networking site called Harvard Connection. The site was designed to create a dating site for the Harvard elite. But soon he dropped out to work on his own social networking site with friends Dustin Moskovitz, Chris Hughes and Eduardo Saverin in February 2004. By August 2005, Zuckerberg had officially changed the company's name to Facebook.

Zuckerberg had connect with many people around the world to ensure that his company progress soaring upwards. Now, Zuckerberg become most influential person on the planet. Facebook planned to attract media companies to publish many articles using the social website.  This effort taken to ensure that all the publishers stay in one roof together and collaborate with Facebook.

The Wall Street Journal said Facebook also has met with various publishers including Buzzfeed, The New York Times and National Geographic to place ads in the platform and Facebook will divide the income from it. Zuckerberg now also planned to cooperate with the United Nations Organization for the UNHCR. This Facebook founder intend to providing internet services in refugee camps to enabling refugees to have access quickly and get help or connecting with their family members. The name of this project is called ‘Connectivity Declaration’ and supported by many other influential people such as singer Bono, actress Charlize Theron, Microsoft founder Bill Gates and billionaire entrepreneur Richard. About three billion peoples around the world now have internet access, and this project will give advantage to about four billion peoples more to get access to the internet. 


These efforts are consistent with the Facebook mission that is to give people the power of share and make the world more open and connected.
